Cape Sounion, the southernmost edge of the Athens Riviera is famous for the Poseidon temple built in the 5th century BC, offers magnificent view to the Aegean sea and an unforgettable sunset over the sea.
A unique sailing route (20+20 NM), suitable also for persons without any sailing experience. The winds coming from the land of Athens Riviera push gently our sailing catamarans to their destination
Our sailing trip starts at Alimos Marina of Athens from the Pier 6 which is located opposite to Dia Nocce Cafe. Meet us there at 10:30 or take advantage of our private transportation from the center of Athens at Syntagma Sqr. Our buses start at 09:45
10:45. Our crew will wellcome you on board. A demonstration of the yacht and its facilities including safety regulations will take place. This activity is suitable for all ages. The yacht will depart at 11:00.
If you are willing to get an idea of the basics of sailing, our crew will be happy to introduce you to the world of sailing. You will be able to practice and try from various positions and roles onboard.
Greece has a very safe sea to allow free swimming in the middle of the ocean. Take the opportunity to jump in the water and enjoy the crystal clear water of the aegean sea.
Our yachts will arrive at Sounion at around 14:00 to 14:30 depending on weather and wind conditions. Enjoy swimming and diving from our luxury catamarans. if you prefer fishing or snorkeling equipment is available on board. Our crew will prepare a light Mediterranean meal to accompany your ouzo or beer after swimming.
You have the option if you wish to visit the famous Poseidon temple. Our crew will take you to the beach and you will be able to walk to the top of the hill that hosts the temple. It You have the opportunity to learn one of the famous stories of Greek Mythology with Aegeas and Thiseas.
At 18:00 we will start sailing back to Athens enjoying a wonderful sunset over the sea. Dinner, drinks and cocktails will be served. We will be back at the Marina of Alimos at around 21:00 to 21:30.
Yes it is possible to see dolphins in our sailing area. It is not guaranteed but it happens often
